The most common questions I get asked are "Should I take a creatine as a [insert sport] player?" and "Is creatine safe to take as a ___-year-old?"

The simple answer is YES**. Unless you have an underlying medical condition, taking an NSF-Certified Creatine Monohydrate product (i.e. Bodylogix or Klean Athlete) is safe and effective for most athletes. In fact, it is one of the most-researched supplements.

Do you NEED to take it though? That's up to you!

Creatine helps increase muscle size, strength, power, and explosiveness. This makes it great for almost all athletes--whether your goal is to hit harder, look bigger, or sprint faster. One exception would be distance runners. While it won't hurt you, creatine is likely not going to provide any extra benefit to your performance.
