Sports nutrition is more than just losing or gaining weight to enhance performance. Athletes have unique training schedules and needs, and it is important that they get the right nutrients at the right times to make the most out of workouts, practice, and competition. Poor fueling, recovery, and hydration practices lead to fatigue, impaired performance, and increased injury risk. With such a short window of time to impress scouts, adding sports nutrition to your plan could make all the difference in getting a Division 1 scholarship or climbing up the draft board for a big pro contract!
