
Back-to-school Nutrition Webinar
Nutrition is one of the foundations of a healthy lifestyle. It can help fuel your athletic performance, brain in the classroom and even just your overall health! With school returning to in-person activities this year, this will serve as a refresher for how to handle nutrition while in class all day, leading up to (and through) your after-school training/games.
About the Program
This Webinar will be hosted by myself and Samantha Harris (@SweetswithSam). She was a D1 Athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently studying to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist! I (Derek) am a Sports Dietitian with years of experience working with teen athletes. We've combined our knowledge and experiences to bring you a program geared directly at staying fueled while back at school.
This is a recording of a live presentation held in August. It includes a comprehensive lecture followed by an Open Q&A, providing info for athletes going to back to full in-person school (and can also help parents learn about nutrition and get useful tips for going back to the office!).
